Speculation is heating up that Tiger Woods intends to return to competitive golf pretty soon. But where?

Bay Hill? Tavistock? The Masters?

•The New York Post — citing two unidentified sources — reported Thursday that Woods would be returning to the PGA Tour in two weeks in the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill.

•Mark O’Meara,a friend of Woods and a fellow PGA Tour golfer, told Golf Channel he “wouldn’t be surprised” if Woods returned to competitive golf in the made-for-TV Tavistock Cup exhibition March 22-23 at Lake Nona, Fla.

Hunter regrets 'wrong word choice'

Torii Hunter was fuming about the way he came off in a USA Today article examining efforts to develop black talent in baseball, a story that quoted the Angels center fielder as saying that dark-skinned Dominican players are "imposters." The article, published Wednesday, quoted Hunter as saying: "People see dark faces out there, and the perception is that they’re African American. They’re not us. They’re impostors. Even people I know come up and say, ‘Hey, what color is Vladimir Guerrero? Is he a black player?’ I say, ‘Come on, he’s Dominican. He’s not black.’ ” In response to the... more.

For those keeping score at home, that's the fastest the team has sold this many new season tickets in its storied history. Commissioner Allan H. "Bud" Selig, who retired the No. 42 throughout Major League Baseball and instituted a Jackie Robinson Day each April 15 to honor the man who broke the game's color barrier, was presented with the 2010 Lifetime Achievement Award at the Jackie Robinson Foundation's Awards Dinner at the Waldorf Astoria on Monday night. William Wesley, the Detroit native whose connections throughout all levels of basketball have earned him the nickname "World Wide Wes," is close to formalizing an agreement with Creative Artists Agency to work for the company as an agent who will represent NBA and college basketball coaches, SI.com has learned. McNabb & T.O. are teammates again

The Associated Press reports that Donovan McNabb and Terrell Owens will team up on a cable TV show, seemingly ending their once-public feud while members of the Philadelphia Eagles. McNabb and Owens will be part of a three-man basketball team that takes on three former pro players on Spike TV's "Pros vs. Joes” show later this spring. McNabb, Owens and Antonio Gates of the San Diego Chargers will take on Hakeem Olajuwon, Kenny Smith and Rick Fox in a half-court basketball game. more.
