Everything fell into place as expected Thursday night, as the there were no "major" surprises with the first few picks of the NFL Draft. The St. Louis Rams took Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford with the top overall choice while defensive tackles Ndamukong Suh and Gerald McCoy were selected two and three to the Lions and Buccaneers.

Dear NFL teams, could we stop with the number 1 jersey you bring out when drafting a player in the first round? Matt Stafford wore number 7 in college, and since there is no current number 7 on the Lions roster why not have a number 7 jersey made up for him. Same thing for the number two pick.... more.
